Mystical 40th
A 40th Birthday was a very Special Occasion for a group of friends who traveled to Rivendell Bistro and Wine Estate, just oustside of Hermanus to celebrate their friends birthday in style. Delectable bite sized canapes were served throughout the evening on platters. The decor was a mystical masquerade of crystal chandeliers lit with blue led lighting, the walls were lined with mirror boxes which served as up-lighters with the blue led illuminating the walls. Unfortunately these photo’s were taken at set-up, the evening photo’s will follow where you can see the dramatic effect of the lighting against the crystal. Masks were embedded in black feather boa’s and strings of black pearls. Midnight blue velvet cloths rounded off the look perfectly. A slush cocktail was served on arrival followed by Rivendell’s award winning wines. This was a night that will not easily be forgotten, but rather remembered for it ‘s perfect flow of events, food, wine, music and decor.
