Pop up wedding

We had everything, all that was missing was the bride and groom, yep, you read correctly! At 6:30am we received an sms to say “Sorry, we won’t make it”. I immediately contacted all my service providers to advise them of our dilemma. Kevin of The Class Room, where the wedding was to be held, was devastated. He had all his food prepped, staff arranged and he had only received a deposit, so he would have been seriously ‘out of pocket’. At 11am, we decided to go ahead with the wedding anyway and see how many guests we could invite to our ‘pop us wedding’. Our guest list grew to 73 in a matter of a few hours. We decorated the venue as if we were having the wedding as I had bought all the flowers already and was looking forward to the event. To keep with tradition, we played the bridal march when our ‘scarecrow’ couple were welcomed and I opened the dancefloor with the ‘Groom”. Kevin jovially delivered a speech and we toasted our Bride and Groom. Kevin is pictured above with the ‘glass’ to toast in has glamorous bowtie! The theme the bride chose was ‘beach with a pop of cerise.
