The Fireman’s ball was the prelude to their day of demonstrations, a very impressive Motorcade and team challenges to celebrate International Firefighters Day on 3 May 2014.  This function was paid for by sponsors, so we were restricted to a tight budget, and had to make use of the donated flowers.   Bosko Ministries International launched their new function venue on 16 February 2014.  Their open-air chapel, with stone wall and reed ceiling, is set amount old pine trees, which is why it is called ‘La Pineta (meaning ‘pine grove’).  After the mayor had cut the ribbon, an al fresco lunch was served.  There is a ‘braai’ area if you wanted to have your ceremony outside, or you could make use of their banquet...
