Life in Flip Flops
Our Bridal couple reside in Kathu, Northern Cape, but their original roots are from the coast, so they elected an intimate, Beach style, luncheon wedding. After meeting them on their visit to our magical town, the brief was simple, Orange, beach theme and ‘we love goldfish and flip flops’ and we’d love an Hermanus Wedding. Due to the age of many of their travelling guests, they opted not to get married on the beach but rather to have an intimate, comfortable venue and have their photographs taken on the beach. We were blessed with clear blue skies for their photoshoot. All the detail for their decor was kept according to their brief, and what fun!! The ceremony was held at the poolside, and reception in the intimate dining area of the Misty Waves Boutique Hotel. Our Splitty Kombi service was one of their special hi-lights. They were transported to the beach in the Splitty and served ice cold champagne chilled in an original 1950′s Pepsi Cooler box.
