Our Gatsby Wedding of 22 February had a slight twist to the dramatic 20″s decor.  Our bride who is not a flower lover at all, pleaded that I find her Hydrangeas.  We ordered preserved hydrangeas from one of my suppliers in Durban as the season for these extraordinary blooms was over.  Unfortunately,  the thermostat of the drier was faulty and our blooms ‘burnt’, yep, poof!!!  After hunting suburb to suburb and begging and pleading at the odd house with a bloom, we managed to collect a few… and alas, we managed our country corner.  A vintage typewriter, bashew crates, genuine  Peltrato pewter mugs, chickenmesh frames adorned with fun photo’s,  and voila,  a chillax area was created.
