Hermanus Wedding ~ The Stunning Blue Eyed Magdelena, a beauty from Poland, now resident and working in Hermanus married her Afrikaner Love…at Gabrielskloof on 17 October on a wind free, clear skied, perfect day.  The Bride and her Retinue were picture perfect, accompanied by our South African strong armed lads.  They exchanged vows in the Chapel on site followed by the Polish traditional ceremony.   Guests played lawn games while the couple had their photo’s taken on the tranquil surrounds of the Garielskloof Estate.  Drinks were served on the vast rolling lawns with canapes, before the guests entered the Restaurant for an evening of fine cuisine, Polish treats and dancing ’til the wee hours.  Sweets from Poland were packaged in organza bags as gifts. The decor style was very specific.. our bride who loves the dessert rose took me mountaineering on her friend’s farm to search for these amazing little succulents.   Paired with red gerberas in clear vases, a few floating candles and twigs, her picture was perfect.  The three tiered cake was separated by the deepest velvet red roses, red velvet cake inner…delectable!
